Make These! Fun and Easy Drink Umbrellas

Looking for a way to fancy up your summer cocktails? We found a tutorial for DIY drink parasols over on Martha Stewart and are planning to make a big batch for our summer gatherings. They look so festive! Plus the "trace, cut, and tape" instructions for making them are right at our skill level.

You can print out a color copy Martha Stewart's design, but we think it would be much more fun and personal to trace the pattern onto our own paper. We could use anything from glossy magazine pages to leftover wrapping paper and match them to the theme of the party. As the tutorial's description points out, these umbrellas also double as individual drink identifiers.

If umbrellas aren't your style, the Martha Stewart website also has cut-out templates for paper butterflies, medallions, and flags. There are lots of ways to top off your drinks with style!
