Ana White's clever design ideas are a common sight at Apartment Therapy. You may have seen her making desks, chairs, headboards and even high chairs! This time around she's combined powers with HGTV and is making these magnetic kitchen boards to hold all your notes, magnets and assorted daily reminders. Good news for us, they're as easy to make as homemade marshmallows!

This clever system is made from particle board and flashing that's been cut to size. Ana walks you through the steps of cutting things to size with ease and adhering one thing to another. Instead of buying a pre-cut sizes of board at your local craft store, head to the hardware store nearest you and have them cut your pieces to size. Make extras for holiday gift giving season (can you believe it's just around the corner?!) or cover an entire wall if you so desire.

It would make a great option for renters who can't paint, but can hang a few things on the wall. Plus, with the growing number of stainless steel appliances in our home (that aren't magnetic), it's a great way to keep the heart of the home organized and well kept.
