Need to make lunch for a hungry crowd? The slow cooker is your best friend. This recipe for ranch chicken sandwiches is sure to please everyone, and you barely have to lift a finger to make it.

If you don't like ranch-flavored food, this is not the recipe for you. First the raw chicken is combined with powdered ranch dressing mix in the slow cooker, and then once the meat is tender and shredded, you stir in some creamy ranch dressing. It's a double dose of ranch, and it packs a punch.

Once you've got your cooked chicken, simply heap it onto the bottom half of a sandwich bun, top it with some Swiss cheese, and set it under the broiler until the cheese is all melted and the sandwich is warmed through.

And just like that, lunch is served!
