We would not have thought of this cool reuse ourselves, but two grand examples have convinced us that vintage luggage racks are perfect when put to use in the kitchen. How, you may ask? As pot racks, of course!
Up top is a vintage luggage rack ingeniously repurposed in the kitchen for storing pots. In lieu of store-purchased s-hooks for hanging the pots, the owner made their own hooks from copper tubing, which complements the warm materiality of the vintage rack. Check out the full project at My Hands Made It.
This one is available from Trainspotters in the UK. It's modeled after Britain's classic railway racks and a pot rack is one of its suggested uses.

Gorgeous! I lovve it!
Great idea.
Is upper rack in the second picture very slanted, or is this just the angle of the photo?
LOVE IT!
We do this in our house! Only we took an Ikea coat rack and added some S hooks. It works great and it's so easy.
@RocketScientist - I assure you it's definitely not slanted. My husband, the former cabinet-maker, would lose his mind!
I have those in my house too!

We found it on ebay and it works just fine.
