Looking for Savory Recipes with Prunes

Q: I have a can of prunes in apple juice sitting in my cupboard that an old, shall we say digestively challenged, roommate left behind. I am moving soon and clearing everything out, and I hate wasting.

Do you have any suggestions on how to incorporate the prunes into a recipe? I prefer savory but that seems impossible with these things.

Editor: Mercedes, try this recipe; it uses prunes in a not-sweet sauce for goat shank. (You could also use the sauce for other meat, like lamb.)
