Have some empty bottles of wine left over from Valentine's Day? Here's one way to put those discarded corks to good use—as handles for your kitchen cabinets. We've seen a lot of different knobs and pulls but never something like this. What do you think?

This kitchen, featured in Southern Living, is part of an article on "Decorating for Men." The entire house, apparently, is a reflection of the male owner's taste, with its framed architectural prints and throw pillows made from military blankets.

The wine cork cabinet pulls don't scream masculinity to us—wine decor is surely unisex, no?—but they're certainly interesting and, we'd imagine, super easy to make. Just attach them with a heavy-duty glue or a thin screw that comes through the opposite side of the cupboard door. They would be nice and tactile to grab on to, as long as they held up well and didn't crumble or chip over time.

Maybe you could seal them with something before attaching them to the cabinets? What are your thoughts? Would be a cool way to highlight bottles drunk on important nights in your life...
