You know it's happened to you: trying to cut off a nice little slice of a hard gouda, your cheese knife goes awry and you end up with a big jagged chunk. This handy tool from the Museum of Modern Art offers the perfect solution: two handles!
Ideal for hard cheese with a rind, this knife works with a bit of leverage to make cuts smooth and easy. And its sleek design makes it perfect for a Father's Day or hostess gift, too! Designed by Frank Bleeker and used throughout the Netherlands, the knife is crafted from stainless steel with beechwood handles. Its size is closer to a chef's knife than a petite cheese knife, so keep that in mind.

I stuck a chef's knife half through my hand once while cutting the rind off a wheel of parm. This would have prevented that
Looks like a mezzaluna, just modified a little bit & made "fancy".
Helsbells: That's what I was thinking of! I knew I had seen a two handled knife before.
Oh, I want to get one of those! I definitely love cheese enough to justify a special knife for it.
I actually thought it was a knife with a cork on the tip before I read the title of this post.
any cheeseshop in Holland has these to cut the cheese :)
there is just no other way to properly cut big pieces, a wire on a board is also used often
