Look! Tray For Magnets Over Stove

Look at this clever, pretty idea we just picked up from one of the entries in the Fall Colors Contest... This is from the second Midwest entry:

Rachel's Bungalow of Bright Ideas (click to see all the photos from Rachel's entry)

Rachel hung a vintage metal tray over her stove; we love how it not only beautifies her kitchen but also serves a practical purpose. She can clip recipes and notes on with magnets, and the tray comes down easily for cleaning. This is a lovely and practical backsplash; we're thinking about something similar now in our own kitchen.

Do you use something removable and washable as a backsplash behind your stove?
