There's nothing quite like getting the pantry organized, and while there are a number of great ideas for storing grains and pantry staples, few boast the ability to store and label all in one!
I like these jars because they're made in America of white ceramic and have an old-fashioned rustic quality to them. They also allow you to easily swap and switch grains that you run out of or consolidate with a simple erase and re-label. The small jars would be a great size for spices while the larger jars will hold pantry staples like flour and sugar, and will also happily house all of your whole grains (oats, buckwheat, amaranth, millet ... and beyond!)

Looks good but I want to be able to see how much flour I have left in the jar.
Mmm, chalk dust in my flour.
I really have to laugh at the presentation. Hopefully the doggy and the stick figure don't get wiped off their respective "treats" containers.
The beauty of storing things in clear jars is that for the most part you don't have to label them because you can see what's inside (different kinds of flours being one of the few exceptions.)
The whole chalk dust thing totally skeeves me out too.
the chalk writing would easily get wiped right off when you're grabbing the canisters... so, you're left with gross chalky hands and no indication of what's inside.
I'm more concerned with the fact that these might not be air tight? Flour bugs & moths are really best avoided...
