During our tour of Valley View Farm's goats and creamery, we stumbled upon this gem tucked into one of the barns! It's an old-fashioned ice cream maker with some slightly more modern upgrades...
Peter Mulholland explained that they refashioned this old ice cream maker by hooking it up to the motor on their old tractor through a systems of wheels and pulleys. The churn is kept stable on a trolley that can be easily rolled out to the yard and back.
This ice cream maker can certainly make enough to feed a crowd! Wouldn't you love to have something like this to pull out for a neighborhood ice cream social or family picnic?!
