I love Lee Valley. They have so many great quality unique items. It is from here that that many believe the idea of using files as zesters was born. Microplane simply built on this. Just rumor, but understandable because of Lee Valley's long and strong reputation.

Though much of their catalog is geared towards woodworkers, there are so many delights here like these measuring cups that I highly recommend getting on their mailing lists. They will also send sale emails so you don't miss a thing.

Their children's items are very cool.

The handles don't look very sturdy from the picture--any trouble with them bending? Hoping the picture is just deceptive.

Do they nest neatly without falling over? I bought nesting plastic measuring cups from MOMA more than 20 yrs ago, one now has a broken handle and I'm ready to replace, but if they don't nest in a stack that is neat and not tippy - they demand too much real estate!

Are these for dry & liquid ingredients???

I have these and they are fantastic! Actually my parents stockpile them as wedding gifts, along with their measuring spoons.
@farrahlarie - yes, they are very sturdy, I don't think there is any chance they would bend

I have the Batali nesting measuring/prep bowls and am OBSESSED WITH THEM. They look like pottery and are the most useful thing ever, not to mention so easy to store.

Is there any place to buy them other than directly through Lee or their website?
