Q: I'm looking for recipes or tips for mixing veggies or beans with animal protein to make burgers. While we are most definitely a family of carnivores, I'd like to try to reduce our meat consumption and increase our veggie consumption by making a burger that consists of meat and veggies or beans.

If anyone has done this, I'd love some recipes or guidance. Thank you!

Editor: I'd recommend starting out by mixing a can of black beans into your normal burger mix. Shredded carrots and other vegetables are also easy to mix in. As you get more veggie-heavy, you might want to add an egg to help hold the burgers together.
