Last summer we brought you a tour of a new restaurant opened by blogger Molly (of Orangette) and her husband Brandon. Delancey, their Seattle pizza restaurant, has become quite a hit. We were enamored of the interior design (as well as the menu) and we just discovered that the great pendant lights installed throughout the restaurant are now available via their designers.

The Weck jar lights inside Delancey.
These pendant lights are so perfect for a kitchen. They are made from Weck canning jars, which are simple, lovely, and classic. The lights are relatively inexpensive, and can be hung in groups or alone.
We love the idea of hanging lights made from canning jars in our kitchen! There is one other model, too, made from glass jugs. Very appropriate for the kitchen, we think.

Straw Mat from The ...

Oh wow, I really love both. I made a similar pendant light out of a Skyy bottle, but theirs look infinitely more polished and professional than my DIY. Seeing these inspires me to give it a try again. Luckily, step one is hosting a cocktail party to get the raw materials :)
This makes me want to break out the electric drill...
Sustainable and chic= love at first sight! I want those in our Maine house.
Sustainable and chic-- frightfully overpriced though. :\
I was ready to buy these for our new house after seeing them this morning. Then tonight, I noticed they'd raised the price by $55 (I'm assuming due to sudden demand). What was already overpriced is now obnoxiously, opportunistically overpriced. :(
Thank you for the shout out, Apartment Therapy! We're thrilled to receive such positive feedback about our designs... and so much Etsy foot traffic.
We started this small scale production of lights recently; they are all hand made and made to order. In the process, sourcing some of our parts and labor have become a bit more involved than we had anticipated so we have had to adjust the price of the lights. Originally we designed these in Seattle and are having to continue to source certain parts and labor from our consultants in Seattle and this has proved to be more costly than originally calculated.
We appreciate your patience and understanding!
