We completed phase one of our project which was painting a chalkboard wall in the eating area. Next part is to install a shelf to display all of my vintage toasters and other chrome kitchen-y stuff. - Elissa in Long Island, NY
• This Week's Assignment: Restock ingredients and tools.
• Cure Clock: 4 weekends down! 1 week left!
• Cure Takers: 2,400ish
Happy Monday, Cure-takers! How was your last weekend of the Cure? This is the fun part: restocking and perhaps picking up a new tool or two. Did you get some good catch-up work done this weekend? Want to send us a photo of your progress? How does your kitchen feel?
We were especially impressed with Elissa's kitchen project; look at that big gorgeous chalkboard wall! What kinds of projects are you finishing up right now, and have you started restocking yet?
Here's the assignment for this week; you have until Friday to get it all done!
And then you will be truly done. Your kitchen will feel cleaner and fresher, just in time for Thanksgiving and the winter holidays. You'll feel like you've purged the scary corners of their power to frighten with their griminess; that jar lurking in the back of the fridge will be gone. You'll have taken stock of your tools and pantry staples; you'll feel ready and relaxed for whatever cooking comes your way this fall! Best of all, your kitchen will support you, not hinder you, in nourishing yourself and your household.
Happy Cure — finish strong this week! Here's the last assignment — don't forget to send us photos as you go!

Wow! Great wall!
I think I need a longer/less intensive "Cure"... I've tackled a few projects, but I'm woefully behind. Maybe by New Year's...? We can dream.
(or I need to scale down the scope of my "Cure" - I'm trying to do too much, I think)
I had to travel for business last week and sort of fell off the wagon. My new goal is just to have it all done by Thanksgiving!
Sometimes, despite your best efforts, what you feel is that you need to enlarge your teeny, tiny kitchen.
