Which Ikea piece is that? I would love to talk my Landlord into letting me put something like that where the dishwasher she refuses to connect stands (she put it there "for show").

@ otherdeb - WHAT? that's ridiculous! tell your landlord that washing dishes in the dishwasher actually uses less water than washing by hand. i'm sure you could find stats on this - it's true!
My mom has some racks like these. She's into it, but the tendency to stack pots on top of each other makes it less useful, imo. What I truly wish for is a wall of metro shelving -- or two -- so that you don't have to stack anything on anything else.
This coming from the girl who can't get her 9x13 out without taking four other dishes out at the same time.
