Happy Monday, Cure-takers! You are almost DONE! You have cleared out your cupboards, tidied your refrigerator, deep-cleaned and decluttered, scrubbed and beautified. What's left in your kitchen? Do you need one new pot to pull your cooking equipment together? Do you need to restock with fresh spices, since the ones from 1998 are now safely disposed of? Do you need to finish a bit of cleaning, or a bit of painting, or hang a new shelf? What's left to make your kitchen ready for spring cooking?
Here's the assignment for this week; you have until Friday to get it all done! Did you get a head start on this assignment over the weekend?
I personally have made big strides forward — I have a new cabinet in the dining room that gives much-needed space for baking dishes and china, but I still need to cover some basics and clean out my oils cupboard. My spices are in sad shape right now, too! But this has been a great Cure for me in terms of special projects and beautification.
The photo above of deniseandpete's kitchen in progress is very inspiring. I love the fresh color on the walls, and those open shelves. Hopefully your kitchen also feels fresh and new, and ready to be put back together.
What's left to do? How does your kitchen feel?
We are LOVING your photos on the Kitchen Cure Flickr Pool! It's so great to see how you are documenting your Kitchen Cure. Keep 'em coming; we'll be highlighting some of our favorite photos every morning on The Kitchn!
