Sally's kitchen renovation started innocently enough — she and her husband just planned to replace their cabinets with help from a neighbor who renovates kitchens. But they caught the remodeling bug, and seven months later they finally finished their kitchen.
Just look at how they turned this run-of-the-mill beige kitchen into an expansive kitchen ready to welcome family and friends for great meals.
Don't you just want to break out your favorite recipe and cook in this kitchen?
In addition to tearing out the drop ceiling and ditching the half-wall and counter, Sally and her husband ended up putting on a 6-foot addition to the kitchen.
That's part of the reason that the update took longer than expected. But we think the results are completely worth it. Not only does it feel like there's 10 times more natural light in the remodeled kitchen, but they got additional counter and cabinet space, which is key when you're a family of six.
Now the kitchen is a seamless part of the dining and living area meaning Sally can keep an eye on everything when she's cooking.
