In an over-designed world Kiosk is a store that wants to offer an alternative. They stock products from travels all over the world with one country featured at a time and rotating every few months.
They choose anonymously designed objects, usually simple and direct household items. Some of the kitchen highlights from the current German-stocked store are this Egg Pricker, a green enamel breadbasket, stainless steel kitchen scissors, and Löwensenf Mustard. We also liked this Milk Watcher that rattles when your milk is about to boil over, and this startling Wurst Marzipan is certainly worth a look.
They also have an ongoing store that includes some of the best of the best of their past collections. We like these old-fashioned laundry clips and this Mexican-style whisk.
Anyone ever ordered from Kiosk or visited their shop in Soho?
