Kimber Cavendish is co-owner of the Kimber Boutique Hotel in Austin, Texas. But before she took a leap of faith and opened her own hotel, she operated a physical therapy practice out of her own home. The beautiful glass Scavolini kitchen you see above (with handmade tile backsplash, mind you) was once the lobby and waiting room of her practice! Clearly it's undergone a major transformation.
The peachy color palette is unusual, yet it seems right for Austin, and for the modern aesthetic of the rest of the home. Miele appliances, a Sub Zero refrigerator, and Bertoia bar stools complete the kitchen look, while a wall of art frames the Saarinen oval table and tulip chairs in the dining room.

oooh, so pretty! I've been checking out the goods in the Scavollini catalog - fun stuff!
Even though the color palette isn't to my liking, that glass certainly is gorgeous. The rest of the house is lovely, too. Plus, this is also the exact kitchen layout that we are looking at for an upcoming remodel and it's nice to see it in action.
