We added storage back where we could with a vertical wine rack, open shelves around the existing chimney flue (painted red), and a recipe book cabinet (with glass doors). What's the story of your kitchen?
Our newly purchased 1900's Victorian home needed a complete kitchen overhaul from the start. We chose ebony stained oak floors, painted maple cabinets, butcher block tops, chalkboard (paint) back splashes, an IKEA sink, and stainless appliances to bridge a modern feel with the traditional style of the house.
