- What makes your small kitchen so cool?
- It's the smallest room, but where we spend the most time. I love that we managed to fit a tiny table and two chairs. And it has lemongrass colored walls!
- Describe a challenge you've overcome or a smart resource you've found for your kitchen.
- The major challenge of this kitchen was no existing counter space and minimal accessible storage. By finding two kitchen carts, one for storage and one for prep, that miraculously fit perfectly, we have managed to overcome both challenges in a way that works. I also removed the doors on the overhead cupboards for readily accessible pantry items with the added bonus of the awesome open shelving look. It's still a work in progress, but I love my shoebox kitchen.
- What's your favorite meal to cook here?
- It's a tie between a big salad that uses lots of CSA vegetables and anything served on toast.

Small Cool Kitchens
This kitchen is not my style; there is nothing about it I identify with, and yet, I love it so much, I'm going to vote for it. it has a certain je ne sais quoi; makes me think of a magical little kitchen in a forgotten apartment in Europe, where one might just cook up something amazing and romantic!
Hello fellow Olympian! Cute space-love the colors. Best of luck

@MrsBerg, I agree completely. Nice way of putting it!
This makes me so, so happy and I don't know if I can even explain why. Part of it is the thoughtfulness with which it's arranged, and part of it is simply that every corner of this room is filled with love. And, the inhabitants are room-temperature-butter people, like me! LOVE!
I love this tiny kitchen and I want to come visit it and dance around in it with you and cook delicious food! PLEASE?
This is definitely small and cool. The bold color is great and it's so cozy, I would actually wanna cook in here.
OMGosh! I wish we had some pictures of this space when my father-in-law bought it in the late 60's. The house belonged to a Family Practice Dr. This kitchen was a nurses station if you can believe it. The house has taken a lot of work but has been a fun and cute place to rent.
