What challenge have you overcome in your kitchen? The most challenging problem to overcome was the fact that the building is over 100 years old. The walls are solid concrete. We had to build a faux wall to be able to attach the cabinets and electricity for the new overhead lighting.

What's the story of your kitchen?
Moved in 5 years ago to old and dirty white cabinets, a broken stove and a small fridge. The space was impossible to cook in, no drawers, no counter space and bad lighting. I wanted to create an updated and efficient kitchen using the same amount of space. Living in a studio apt, you can see the kitchen from every angle. It was essential that it blended in with the rest of the apt.

What is your favorite meal to cook here?
I love to bake cookies in my new kitchen.
