vintage stoves are awesome! they give so much character to a space.
Damn, I love vintage stoves. I thought, er, hoped that they would drop in price due to the passion of stainless.
I love the look of my vintage stove (a Tappan from sometime pre-1945 that came with my house) and the gas burners work great. But the oven kinda sucks. I'm no cook but even a frozen pizza is nearly impossible to get to cook through, it is like the oven never gets over 200-300 degrees even when set to 450. Am I doing something wrong or do the older ovens just lack something?
