Yep, World Market have them on sale now for $89! And besides the dining table I saw a similar coffee, end & sofa table that were very cool and very industrial.
Not sure what your editors were smoking ;-) but the billiard light has never been less than $768. I've been waiting for it to go on sale to no avail...
