Do you often find yourself catching Golden Girls reruns in the wee hours of the morning, or late hours of the night? Perhaps you're an avid viewer, despite the fact that you own all seven seasons on DVD.
Certainly, the amount of times you can watch each episode is infinite, but after a while things start to get tired. So, if you're hungry for new Golden Girls goodness, you're in luck.
Michael J. LaRue, who was a close friend of Rue McClanahan (Blanche), is developing a Golden Girls-themed restaurant in New York City. Scheduled to open in September, Rue la Rue will serve soups, salads, wraps, desserts (including cheesecake, naturally), and wine.
The restaurant will be decorated with many of Rue's personal belongings, including her piano, and bits of memorabilia from the show. According to LaRue, Betty White will even be attending the restaurant's ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Are you ready for a trip to NYC?
