Which one would you choose?
Many of the Chez Panisse celebrations are pricey, with dinners going for up to $2,000 a plate in order to raise funds for the Edible Schoolyard, an organization created by Alice Waters to bring garden and kitchen programming to grade schools across the country. These t-shirts, as well as a few lower priced and even free events, are a more affordable way to participate.
A collaboration between Waters, Levi's and the artists, the t-shirts are 100% organic cotton and come with plantable letter-pressed tags that are embedded with organic herb seeds. (Of course!) They cost $30, with proceeds supporting the Edible Schoolyard Project.
Check out the Levi's website for all five designs and ordering information.
