My husband is going back to school in the fall and we have two young kids, so we've decided that we'll try switching our main family meal to breakfast rather than dinner to try and keep us connected. I know we can have family time over bowls of cereal, but it would be nice to make it a little more special as often as possible.
We usually only cook breakfast on the weekends or on occasions, so most of the breakfast recipes in our repertoire are a bit extravagant and not the healthiest thing to eat five days a week.
