How To: Write Your Own Cookbook

Pin it button big

The talented Heidi at 101 Cookbooks has a great run-down on how to publish your own cookbook using the myriad of tools available online.

One option is to create a PDF cookbook, such as the gorgeous, and downloadable-for-free All About Apples (left) by Scott Carsberg and Hillel Cooperman (photography by Peyman Oreizy).

If you'd rather have something in paper to stroke with your hands, there's lulu.com, a service that will print a single custom 50 page 6" x 9" black and white hardcover book for$16. Order 100 and the price per unit drops to $13. Or get slick with a larger, color, 200-page hardcover comes in just under $50.
