OK, maybe we have popcorn on the brain. Microwave popcorn gets a bunch of press and we are taking every chance to talk about it. This may be because it's fall, too, and salty-crunchy popcorn is such a great fall snack. It goes so well with movies, and football games, and tailgate parties.
So one more question for you - how do you like your popcorn? For the record, we'll eat it any which way.

Popcorn dusted with icing sugar is the greatest thing ever.
Popped over the stove, or hot-air popped, with lots of salt and lots of REAL melted butter. Bad for you and OH so delish. A friend of mine swears by squeezing a lemon over hers, haven't tried it yet but I suppose that could be good.
For some reason, I like mine sprinkled with hot sauce, ala Tabasco.
with black truffle butter and truffle salt.
salt, cumin, and nutritional yeast is my favorite popcorn topping combintation
Popped on the stove in BACON FAT! So, so wrong, but so right.
Salt and nutritional yeast, closely followed by salt and brown sugar.
Margarine, nutritional yeast, salt. YUM!
Butter and curry powder.
With grated parmesan and chili powder. Mmm.
Normally, just popped on the stovetop in oil, without anything else. But when I go to the movies, my regular theater has this salty fake cheese stuff that I just cannot resist.
What on earth is nutritional yeast? I've never heard of it before.
I like mine with salt, and if I'm feeling indulgent, butter. I also like it with parmesean cheese, and the curry powder idea sounds delish. I'll have to try that tonight for movies! Oh, and I always take my own bag to the movie theater. Both because I'm cheap, and I can't stand the smell of the fake butter. I have my special movie purse which is bigger than my usual one and fits a brown bag of popcorn.
salt and garlic powder, popped on the stove. I DO love lots of butter too, but I try to keep myself away from it as much as possible.
I just tried kettle corn for the first time at the farmer's market yesterday, and i am hooked.
Popcorn lightly buttered and salted over a scoop of vanilla ice cream, mmm.
I love movie-style popcorn if it's freshly popped. My dad and I have a tradition of father-daughter movie dates, and we always skip dinner and indulge in a big bag of popcorn. It's the only time I eat it!
Popped on the stove, real butter, light salt with a bag of m&m's mixed in!
Orville Redenbacher (of all things) use to have this microwave popcorn (I know I know, I sincerely hate microwave popcorn, but this was during my childhood) and it was sour cream and onion flavor (for a while they had lots of flavors.) OH I loved that flavor. They discontinued it, and now all you can find is cheese, butter, cheesier cheese, lots o' butter, and more cheese please varieties. Ah, what happened to good ole' variety. lol
Butter, homemade garlic salt or cayenne, and grated parmesan cheese.
Salt, pepper and cayenne
