Q: I saw your recipe for Mexican rice, and I was wondering if it can be cooked in a slow cooker (and if so, for how long).
I would use two slow cookers, so any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Editor: We've never made Mexican rice in the slow cooker, but you should probably start the recipe on the stovetop and toast the rice first, since it gives it great flavor. After toasting, transfer everything to the slow cookers and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, which is how long we cook our Slow Cooker Burrito Bowls. Make sure you check on the rice a few hours in and see if it needs to be stirred or liquid needs to be added. Good luck!
