Q: I have used silicone oven liners for several years now with great success — I truly love them. However, for the first time in my life, I FORGOT to remove the liner before using the self-cleaning feature on my oven. Needless to say, the liner adhered to the base of the oven — I was able to remove most of it, but it left a white residue on the entire oven and door.
Has anyone experienced this and if so, how do I remove the white residue remaining? Thank you so much for the opportunity to question.

Editor: Joyce, a thorough deep-cleaning of your oven might help!
Readers, any other advice?
