Q: I was recently at a delicious Lebanese restaurant in Ottawa, Canada, where they served a very unusual and refreshing iced tea flavored, I think, with rose water.
I wonder where I could find a recipe for such a thing so that I could recreate it at home.

Editor: Adrie, that sounds delicious! We did a little looking around, and it seems like some Lebanese iced tea is just made with rose water mixed into iced tea, whereas other times it is made with jallab syrup, which has flavors of dried fruits and caramel as well as of roses. Here are some resources
• Lebanese Iced Tea - at The Big Apple
• Lebanese Iced Tea - at Chowhound
• Rosy Iced Tea - from Rachael Ray
Anyone have a good recipe for Lebanese iced tea?

I got to school in Ottawa - what restaurant was it? I'd love to try it!
I say just buy bottles of both and experiment. Several local middle-eastern restaurants in my city offer rosewater lemonade which is perhaps my favorite summer refreshment. Sigh...
