I love the the idea; but those particular ones are hideous. They look cheap.

I actually like the look, but I don't think I have any ingredients that I use enough to justify having it out ALL THE TIME. I think I will stick to stacking my canisters in the pantry.

It reminds me of college cereal dispensers. In my house, I could only see myself using it for coffee.

I dunno - I think this could be great for families with kids. Kind of a self-service area for breakfast and snacks. It could also be useful for storing dog and cat food. You could install it inside a pantry, too, so they're not right out there in the open.

Too cafeteria. I'd feel like I was running a bulk barn, not a household.

I like the concept, and the cups are cute, but it's not aesthetically appealing to me (or "homey" feeling.)

yeah, for us, coffee is about the only thing we would be able to use that for. maybe cereal but we don't just stick to one type.

coffee should NEVER be kept in clear containers like that. Always use an opaque/air tight container! UGH. Food storage pet peeve.

I agree with keltrue--it isn't the cafeteria look; it's the hotel continental breakfast look.

I have this product, and it frequently leaks onto the counter. You'd never be able to keep coffee in it (unless you have whole beans), as rice and oatmeal squeak past the turnstile. My Aunt uses hers for candy without an issue, so pasta might work...but I don't eat candy, and I go through pasta like water.

I like it but my ideal kitchen would look like a mad scientist's lab and those would fit. If I could find them in brass it would be even better.

love the idea and i want to use something similar. i'm just looking for the right ones. i need it to safely store flours without spilling them everywhere.

How about mounting these inside a pantry or closet? That would save the space while hiding the look.

I thought about the inside a pantry idea too. However, there's isn't any one dry food product we need that much of or buy that much of at one time.

Inside the pantry would be hot, but not on display for all to see.

I like the idea, but I'm always worried about spoilage issues, even for things used frequently. If they can make one that's basically an airtight jar in dispenser form, that would be awesome.

Not, just because I can NOT operate those things, and always embarrass myself at stores when trying to buy bulk granola by spilling everywhere.

I don't like them. They look cluttery, and the counter-space underneath them appears to be pretty much useless, so you might just as well keep jars on the counter. Plus they're ugly. And I don't have anything that I use often enough to justify the cost.

I like the dog food idea.

We had one that had a countertop stand and, while it was cute for a little while, quickly became a pain. Coffee didn't keep fresh enough, cereal broke apart when turning, and small things definitely leaked through (though there is a cap for the bottom end). I could see it being interesting for pet food but since you're probably going to have a big bag of it sitting somewhere, you might as well just use a cup to scoop it out instead.

I like the idea, but comments about the thing leaking has turned me off the product. First thought was that it would be good for storing rice, oatmeal and muesli and provide quick access. All things that are used up quickly in my home.
