This slicing guide is a product that we instinctively feel like we should ridicule. What a unitasker! And yet we are so uncoordinated that our tomato slices often come out either wispy or chunky — and don't even talk about our bread slicing clumsiness. Precise slicing is definitely an area of growth for our knife skills. So perhaps this has some guilty merit. But then again, maybe you could hack this with a large carving fork? What do you think?
