When it's cold and bleak outside, one of Bill Grangers cookbooks is a summery tonic. All the Australian sunlight, open kitchens, and bright food bring a little taste of warmth.
Another taste of warmth from Bill Granger comes in this Chocolate Self-Saucing Pudding, a recipe for incredibly easy individual-sized chocolate cakes.
They are classic little pudding cakes. Boiling water is poured over them right before baking, so they puff up with a light sponge cake on top, steamed pudding in the middle, and fudge sauce at the bottom. They ooze chocolate and weekend comfort - all you need is a spoon and a little whipped cream.

A lemon pudding like this is a great family favorite my mom made. I love individual baking cup deserts. Will try this.
Let us know how it goes, Kate! =)
those mini puddings are just too cute
Huh... well, I WAS going to enter the bittersweet contest with my grandma's Pudding Cake recipe. Shoot.
Simple, chocolate, and topped with whipped cream? I think I've got my plan for v-day dessert! :)
