How can you choose? I will say Dutch oven but they all tie.
I'm 26 and have just recently become even slightly interested in cooking. Some of it came from being tired of fixing dinner-in-boxes and some of it came from finding out I have a few food allergies. It's definitely been an interesting experience and I am only starting to venture out of "basic pan" type things. As such, I think I'd likely use the French oven more at first because there've been some interesting recipes I've found (like one for a yummy pot roast) that need that type of pan.

oh to die for
french oven for herb-crusted roast chicken...mmmm.
The square skillet - I'd buy a handheld grill press and make paninis
The dutch oven - pot roast mmmmmm....
the dutch oven would be perfect in the winter for making a huge pot of chili. i would love this to break in my new apartment's kitchen.
I dream of the little potfriend for sauce.
won't match my lime green Le Creuset, but I'll deal. ha ha
the french oven for my chickens.
5 1/2-quart Round French Oven... It holds a whole chicken! Woohoo!
I like the dutch oven...It is a versatile pot and is perfect for chili!!!
French Oven for Armenian Rasmuta Stuffed Beans with Renanda Organic Leafy Sprouts topped with a Red Wine Sauce!
The Dutch oven for sure. Julia Child's beef bourguignon is amazing. I have done it without the dutch oven but you have to transfer everything back and forth between dishes since it is partially done in the oven and partially on stove top. (It gets very messy with the red wine sauce) If I had a dutch oven I could make it all the time!
