what exactly looks good about the first picture?
thanks, rob, for your totally useful comment... fyi they're fresh vanilla cherry miniature pies. they were freaking delicious, no need to hate!
Cara Lynne - While I'm sure they were tasty, they're not particularly nice looking. Perhaps they should have been staged a little better for the photo. Sometimes it can be tough to do though. I've had some great dishes that look horrid on film. Just one of those funny things.
Looks good to me!
Looks good to me too! I love this site. Tonnes of easy, tasty recipes.
Yeah the little pies don't look so hot. I'm sure they're tasty. I might have pictured the first picture from that post with the fruit in the pan.
Not hating, just thought a post titled "...never looked so good" shouldn't start with a picture that doesn't particularly look "so good"
The mac and cheese one, however, has me salivating on my keyboard.
Rob, if you can read a recipe, "looks good" doesn't HAVE to mean the photograph.
I think they all look pretty good! That pie crust looks delicious
I'm Team Rob all the way. ;) Those first two photos had me really feeling for vegans if that's what looking good means for them. Pore thangs. I'm glad photos 3 & 4 were included, they are pretty. But it's true that some food doesn't photograph well, perhaps the recipes of the first two should be snapped and posted instead. I do love to read a good recipe!
Denise,
The recipes (and more pictures) are up on the blog:
* patriotic cheese cake
* mini cherry cobblers
Enjoy!
