Q: Both of our children have life-threatening allergies to legumes (beans, lentils, etc.), eggs, fish/shellfish, peanuts, and tree nuts. I love to cook, bake, and try new recipes and flavors, but it has been a particular challenge to find meatless main dishes that they (and my meat-and-potatoes-husband) might like.
I want so badly to raise kids that are open to new and exciting flavors, but I'm running out of ideas! I'd also prefer to cook one meal that we can all enjoy, without having to cater to each person at the dinner table. I'm open to anything at this point. Does anyone have some suggestions or recipes to share with us?
