Q: This month we'll have a house warming party and I want to make Jell-O shots.
Please help me find the perfect recipe!

Greatest blog for jello shots ever, should help immensely: http://myjelloamericans.blogspot.com/
I found this website recently: http://www.myscienceproject.org/j-shot-3.html
I have to say, though, my favorites (and biggest hits with my friends) have been orange jello with vanilla vodka (I infused my own!) or strawberry with Malibu. Yum!
My trick is to add a packet of knox gelatin for every 3 regular sized boxes of jello. It helps them set the jello and make it easier to get out of a cup. I also like making jello shots in a pan and then cutting them out into shapes.
My favorite kind is raspberry jello with Cruzan Banana rum. It's delicious!
Thanks Gussiebuns, that's my website!
I've wanted to make these since I saw this website... I've had it bookmarked forever: http://www.bakersroyale.com/fruit/lemon-drop-jell-o-shots/
Here's a nice round up. http://www.yummly.com/blog/2011/06/10-jello-shots-worth-the-hangover/
Now off to check on those other sites!
Never made jello shots before, I think I know what I want this weekend!
In college I made some with peach jello and peach schnapps. I still drool thinking about them! Also try using pineapple jello with coconut rum for pina colada shots!
Look at these: http://www.latimes.com/features/food/la-fo-cocktails10oct10,0,4576208.story?coll=la-home-middleright
Not a recipe as such, but I sliced mandarin oranges in half, carefully removed the flesh from the peels, filled the peels with the ordinary Jello/vodka combination, let them set, then sliced them into "orange quarters". They were visually stunning (stupid me didn't take a picture!) and best of all you got a bit of orange flavour from the peel.
For something easy and tasty, but not quite as fancy, try these:
Chocolate covered cherry: Cherry Jell-O with Creme de Cacao. Use equal parts boiling water and liquor. Put a maraschino cherry in the shot cups before filling to fancy it up a bit.
Fuzzy Navel: Orange Jell-O with peach schnapps.
Pudding shots are awesome too. I use a large box of chocolate fudge instant pudding and replace 1/2 of the milk with a mixture of Bailey's & Kahlua for a mudslide. Once the pudding sets, fold in a tub of Cool Whip until smooth. It's almost a mousse texture and they're so good!
Thank you all for the tips! They look all delicious, difficult to choose :) . Bests.
