The first thing you notice about Heinz and Veronique's Topanga, California kitchen is all the wood — walnut, to be exact, covering cabinets that Heinz designed himself. It's a definite nod to Mid-Century design (and "California living," as Veronique says) and a lovely one at that. So much warmth, so much space to move around!
Heinz and Veronique have lived in this house for 11 years. The home was originally around 750 square feet, so the couple added a few pre-fab units to use an an office and guest bedroom. The kitchen is housed in a new addition.
All the appliances are by Gaggenau.
I love how serene this shelf looks. The white dishes against the dark wood is just stunning!
