All of us here are big fans of Heath Ceramics in Sausalito, California. Their gorgeous ceramic pieces are both practically functional and works of modern art. So we were of course interested to see the new kitchen that they just installed in their Sausalito headquarters, a modular design from Henrybuilt's sister company, Viola Park.
Besides those enviable windows (and the California light!) there are some interesting features to steal in this kitchen.
I especially like the use of the bold primary colors next to pale wood; it could come off as preschool in tone, but here it just seems cheery and warm. I also really like the backsplash, which appears to be made of tall, narrow Heath tiles.
