Gear Up for Higher Hazelnut Prices

A frost in Turkey, which produces 70 percent of the world's hazelnut supply, has damaged hazelnut trees, leading to drastically reduced production.

Unfortunately, this means that a much smaller supply will lead to higher prices for this favorite ingredient in holiday confection making and cookie baking.

Let's hope the price of Nutella doesn't go up, as we can't live without that delicious chocolate-hazelnut spread!
