Summer travel for many of us means hitting the open road. Can you imagine doing so with a fully functional kitchen in tow? These folks can:
Here, we've rounded up five wonderful and portable kitchens that have been featured over at Apartment Therapy. From a fully renovated Airstream to a humble teardrop camper, these homes on wheels let you bring the creature comfort of the kitchen along for the ride.
Have you traveled with a kitchen in tow before? How'd it go?

This is a very timely post - I spent the weekend camping and we barely fit everything for 2 people into the truck we used. There's talk of getting a trailer, and these are all lovely!

I built a kitchen box for truck camping. It is not as nice as the one in the link but pretty darn nice, if a bit heavy.
We have a very old airstream waiting to be re-done - can't wait to start in a few months when another project is completed and have already bookmarked several site from here.
As someone who comes from Portland, land of the portable food cart, I'm no stranger to kitchens on wheels. These out-cute most of them by miles though!
ACK! Teardrop/ham trailers! I die.
Wow! My girlfriend would flip for any of these! Bravo!
