When we were younger we never gave tea towels much thought. They were always in the kitchen and were used for various tasks. One thing they were never used for is now one of the main reasons that we continue to purchase tea towels — they are great pieces of art.
Art is exactly what comes to mind when we found these handmade tea towels from Leah Duncan. There's no end to how you could use these towels. Since we view them more as art than an actual towel &mdash we think they'd be great in a frame hanging in the kitchen. Or, if you do plan on using them (even if just to dry your hands) hanging over the stove handle would be great too!
Each tea towel is handmade in Austin, Texas and each design printed on organic cotton. When washing these make sure you use a phosphate free detergent to avoid washing away the print.
What makes these hand towels really stand out is they appear as though they'd be vintage, but without the hefty price tag. The colors are subtle, but still make an impact.
