This Saturday, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Slow Food NYC are presenting a workshop on growing and using herbs as part of the all-day "Making Brooklyn Bloom" at event at the Garden

You'll review seed-starting basics and get some tips on organic windowsill herb culture. Then you'll learn how to preserve your crop and use it in the kitchen.

Each participant will leave with recipes for herb salts, oils, and vinegars as well a sample herbal infusion.
