I am visiting Washington state right now, and cherries are spilling out of every market stall I pass. Ripe red juicy cherries, scarlet-cheeked yellow sour cherries — they all look good to me! So I couldn't help but stop and stare at this recipe from Rachael Ray's website: a suitably quick and easy (yet probably stunning) appetizer.
This looks like a great use for a grill and for all those fresh cherries in the market. Have you ever paired cherries and cheese? Would you ever try grilled cheese?

OHHHhhhhhhhh. My mouth is watering.
I'm not sure about this. Doesn't sound tasty, but I could be wrong.
plumeria - you might be wrong. fruit and cheese = classic. Oooey gooey melty cheese with warm juicy cherries on toasted bread = heaven.
omg yes!
Holy cow, that looks amazing! I might actually have to break my years-long streak and make a Rachael Ray recipe.

This may very well be the most delicious-looking thing I have ever seen. I simply must try this.
In southwestern France, in Basque country, sheep's milk cheese topped with black cherry jam is a traditional (and ohsodelicious) pairing. A wizened old man at the market once also persuaded us to put the jam on proper blue cheese, which, surprisingly enough, was equally amazing!
Mmm, blue cheese and cherry jam sounds delicious!
This looks and sounds delicious.
