Grill Tonight: Pancetta-Wrapped Asparagus

OK, OK - we know that the last asparagus of the season headed out of town a few weeks ago, which makes our lust for this recipe all the more cruel.

These are so simple, and so sublime. Wrap the thinly sliced pancetta around tender young asparagus so salty fat gets crisp while the asparagus stay tender. Everything tastes smoky, grilled, and porky. Anyone got a late patch of asparagus coming up??
