When I find myself falling down the dream kitchen rabbit hole, one thing is always constant: big windows streaming lots of light! Light to cook by, light to eat by, light to take photographs. So it's no wonder these greenhouse-inspired kitchens strike such a chord with me, particularly the ones that blur the line between inside and outside living. (The trees!) I think I could never be too bummed about my cooking mishaps if they happened in one of these kitchens. It's like they're saying, just try to stay grumpy! Try it!

Martha Concrete Lam...

I love these but am always scared of it being freezing in there in the winter (in colder climates). Maybe I'm just overly sensitive since I lived in a house with a huge two story window and it was ALWAYS frigid...
I agree Jenk968. They are indeed lovely, though. (but in the first picture, what is up with that giant wire shelf??? it just seems so distracting in that space)
LOVE those kitchens, but I totally agree with Jen968 too. I live in the Midwest, so while a kitchen like that would be a real dream in the summertime, I think it would be cold and uninviting in the winter. Maybe I just need to move south....
"Lots of Glass Windows"
What other kind of windows would they be?
Lovely. I recently watched "Three Men and a Baby" and fell in love with their kitchen all over again.
I would worry about the heat actually. My kitchen was built in the fifties, so there is one tiny window over the sink. Mid afternoon, doing dishes is blinding and the heat is brutal.
