When you hear the phrase "green tile countertops," do you give a bit of a shudder? I know, I know — sounds dreadful. But in this Beachwood Canyon, Los Angeles kitchen, it's actually pretty great.

Lori and John have embraced a vintage look in their kitchen. From the pristine Wedgewood range to the throwback-style cabinets, the kitchen has a definite mid-century vibe while also feeling totally modern.

The standout features are undoubtedly the pea green countertops and mosaic backsplash. They look so fresh in this otherwise white kitchen! Such a surprising touch, but one that really works.
