I've been on a green smoothie kick the last week or so, and have been looking for interesting recipes to try at home. Especially now that it's getting warm (even hot!) in New York, a cold vitamin-packed smoothie sounds like the perfect option for breakfast. These four bloggers show a great range of smoothie recipes, from easy spinach-based ones to those with kale or avocado.
The key to a great green smoothie is to balance your greens with something a little sweet (like a banana) and then add something with a little more liquid (whether that be a little water or something like a cucumber).
